Who the hell am I?
I am just a guy that as a teenager, fell in love with the world of photography and over the years it shaped my life in ways that I never expected. I like many, fell into photography during high school taken as an elective class where I was looking for something new and interesting. These classes lead to a hobby that became my passion. I spent uncounted hours reading, studying anything I could related to photography and the mechanical means to produce a photograph. Building and equipping a personal darkroom in my basement in order to craft my art. This passion later became the basis for my career as a forensic crime scene investigator. My position afforded me to witness and take part in unique and historic experiences, to travel learn and use aspects of photography and videography that are only available few people. I look back on my career, the people that I worked with and those still operating in that field with respect and fond memories. I am retired and that door has been securely closed and locked away. My focus is now concentrated on Landscape and Wildlife photography. Being retired allows me the opportunity to slow down while traveling or spending time in nature, so that I can experience the sights and sounds around me without that sense of expediency and or pressure to be somewhere else. Watching a landscape dramatically change or an animal investigate its surroundings while I stand there waiting for that perfect moment to capture an image is so rewarding and peaceful. It is my hope that the experiences and images that I have collected over the years may be shared by you, the patrons of my website.
